The attention of the CPR. & RE, Hyderabad is invited to the reference 3rdand 5th cited, and he is informed that in Govt.Memo.No.6355/Ser.IIl-2/02-1, dt.15.06.2002 it was clarified that regarding competent authority for making appointments in respect of Sons/daughters/spouse in case of deceased teachers or retired teacher on medical invalidation grounds, if it is to the post of teachers (i.e. if the dependent have all required qualifications to appointment him as teacher)
then the District Education Officer, is competent authority to the post of teachers. If it is for appointment to the post of class-IV and Ministerial post, such cases shall be dealt by the Chief Executive Officer concerned and the District Education Officer, concerned shall furnish all necessary particulars / information to the concerned Chief Executive Officer for taking further action, the above said memo was issued after obtaining concurrence from PR&RD Department. Hence the clarification issued in the above said memo holds good.
2. He is therefore directed to implement the instructions contained in the Govt. Memo. 1st cited immediately and issue instructions to· all Chief Executive Officers, Zilla Parishads to takee further action on the applications of dependents of deceased teachers / retired teachers on Medical invalidation for appointment to the post of Class-IV and Ministerial Service as per rules. Further he is also requested to examine the cases as per the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.202, G.A. (Ser.A) Department, dt.27.4.2002 and G.O.Ms.No.203, G.A. (Ser.A) Department, dt.27.04.2002 in respect of Government employees who retire on medical invalidation.
